Privacy Policy

Assignment Planner ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal productivity app for tracking homework and deadlines. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Email address — collected when you create an account. Used only for authentication (sign in, password reset). We never sell or share it.
• Assignment data — titles, due dates, courses, priorities, and completion status that you enter. Stored in your account so it syncs across your devices.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any health or financial information.

How we use your data

• To sync your assignments across your devices.
• To send password-reset emails when you request them.
• To deliver local reminders on your device (reminders are processed entirely on-device — no data leaves your phone for this).

Data storage

Your account and assignment data are stored securely by Supabase, our backend provider. Data is stored in the United States. Supabase's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to operate the app (i.e., the Supabase backend described above).

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open the app, tap the profile icon (top right), tap Delete Account, and confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All assignments and account information are erased from our servers.

Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 beyond what is described in this policy. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
